King of Clubs Tournament Format and Club Rules

King of Clubs tournaments will be comprised of a singles, doubles, and crew cup match, with multiple skill divisions. All matches will be double elimination with the exception of Crew Cup matches, they will be single elimination.

• King of Clubs tournaments are open to the public, and anyone can register to compete.
• Players are not required to be part of a club or register as a club to participate.
• Players may enter multiple brackets per tournament but can only be active in one bracket at a time.
• Players will be removed or forfeited from any additional brackets that overlap with an active bracket.
• King of Clubs reserves the right to make final decisions to ensure pace of play and prevent delays.
• Players must meet the PPR requirements for each skill division they register for at the time of tournament registration.

Tournament Registration

Does not include a $5 facility fee. This is charged per person per tournament regardless of how many events you compete in.

Club Entry Fee:

$125 per roster per skill division - This covers entry for one team in each bracket of the division. Clubs may also disregard PPR caps for their brackets as long as their roster has been approved for that division. Rosters have to meet skill division requirements at time of club registration. Amount contributed from registration to each bracket ($20 singles, $40 doubles, $40 crew)

• Social - 24 PPR cut-off

Payouts:

80% Tournament Payout - Paid out for podium finishes.

15% Tournament of Kings Payout

5% Administrative Cost

Example Payout with 10 club teams in a single division

Singles: 1st $100, 2nd $65, 3rd $35

Doubles & Crew Cup: 1st $200, 2nd $120, 3rd $80 

Format:

Each club will compete within a skill division to accumulate the most points possible from their three best King of Club tournament finishes. These points will seed you for the King of Clubs "Tournament of Kings" playoff. Points will be awarded to each club's team based on where their teams finish in each bracket. In the event of a tie, the team with the better overall DPR will get the lower seed.

Skill Divisions:

*PPR requirements are based on a 5-player roster. *

**Teams may register with 4 players with approval from King of Clubs; however, the team PPR will be calculated including a 5th "ghost" player. **

 ***The ghost player's PPR will be set to the average of the division's skill cap for a 5-player team. ***

Advanced - Combined PPR of 45 or less

Competitive - Combined PPR of 38 or less

Social - Combined PPR of 34 or less

• Each club consists of 5 players.
• Registration fee: $125 per club per division (tournament registration costs are not included).
• Clubs must register a roster for each skill division they will compete in, and the roster must meet the skill division requirements at registration
• Teams must be chosen from the roster registered by the club for that skill division
• Teams must compete in the skill division their roster is registered 
• Clubs cannot use any player that is not on the roster for that skill division
• Clubs are required to compete in every bracket of their skill division for any King of Clubs tournament they are participating in.
• Each player may participate in only one bracket per tournament, excluding the Crew Cup
• New Scoreholio accounts (less than 120 days old) will have their PPR determined by dividing the PPR max for the skill division they wish to compete by 5.  

• Players may only represent one club, if representing a club.
• Participation is open to all skill divisions, but you must be registered on each roster you wish to compete for a club, or meet the skill division requirements for individual team entry
• All players must have a Scoreholio account. If multiple accounts exist, the account with the most games using SPR tracking will be used. King of Clubs reserves the right to make final decisions to ensure fair competition.
• Player PPR is determined by the players last 120-day PPR.
